Custom cabinetry is built to your exact dimensions, materials, storage details, and finish. Everything is designed around your space. Semi-custom starts from a set of standard sizes and door styles that we adjust and combine to fit your kitchen or bath, and it can mean a faster timeline for a similar look.

Depends on your space, your timeline, and what matters most to you. An unusual layout, tight tolerances, or very specific storage needs usually push toward custom. A fairly standard space where you want a strong look without a long lead time often points to semi-custom. We'll go through the tradeoffs with you at your free consultation.

Timelines vary a lot depending on scope. A single vanity moves much faster than a full kitchen or a commercial millwork package. Once we've scoped your project, we'll give you a realistic timeline so you know what to expect.

Cost comes down to the size of the project, the materials and finishes you pick, how complex the layout is (islands, angles, built-in storage features), and how much customization you want. Industry-wide, full custom kitchen cabinetry can run anywhere from a few thousand dollars for a small, simple update to well into five figures for a large, fully custom kitchen. Yes. Once we've scoped your project, we'll break the quote down so you can see what you're paying for: materials, construction, and any installation or finishing work, instead of one lump number.

We work with solid woods, hardwood plywood, and engineered panels for boxes, and wood, painted, or veneer options for doors, depending on your style and budget. We'll recommend the right combination for your project during design.

Good cabinet care mostly comes down to being gentle with them. A few guidelines:

• Wipe spills and splashes promptly with a soft, damp microfiber cloth.
• For everyday cleaning, use a small amount of mild dish soap diluted in warm water. Nothing stronger.
• Dry surfaces after wiping instead of letting water sit, especially around sinks.
• Avoid abrasive pads (including "magic eraser" style pads), ammonia, bleach, and all-purpose degreasers. Over time they can dull finishes or strip protective coatings.
• Skip furniture waxes and polishes on cabinet doors. Buildup attracts dust and grime.
