Wauwatosa has some of the most architecturally distinct housing stock in the Milwaukee area: early-1900s bungalows, Tudor cottages, mid-century homes packed into established, walkable neighborhoods. Nobody drew these rooms with a modern kitchen layout in mind. Walls run at odd angles. Ceiling heights shift from room to room. Door and window trim carries detail builders don't replicate anymore.
